Diaper Cake

A diaper cake can be a unique gift to welcome a newborn baby. A professionally made diaper cake in stores is nice, but how about making it yourself while thinking about the new baby?

It’s very easy to make! Just roll up a diaper one by one, secure them with a rubber band, and decorate. Here is how to make a three-tier diaper cake.

For the base layer, form a belt into a loop and stuff diapers inside.
We’ve used a straw hat for the second layer. Turn over the hat and stuff diapers inside.
The top layer is small, so you can simply put couple of rolled diapers together and wrap a rubber band around to form a circle.
Cover each layer with a sheet of drawing paper to hide diapers.

Let’s make it more adorable by adding many tulle fabrics that are accordion folded and tied together with a rubber band. Oh, don’t forget to decorate the cake with Luntan’s garland, too! Use a round shape garland to make a cocktail stick to decorate. You can also put it on the cake like stickers.

Here is another decorated diaper cake. We’ve decorated with small garlands and placed cute baby items on the layer.

For the diaper cake, we’ve put together the letters of “Hello Baby Girl, Welcome to the world” and “Hello Baby Boy, Welcome to the world” besides the letters of the alphabet (A-Z). When you make a diaper cake, don’t forget to post the photo on Instagram and share it with us.
