6 luxury hotels to stay in with babies and children opening in 2023
With the Corona disaster finally coming to an end in Japan, 2023 is a year of renewed travel excitement.
There are many wonderful hotels and inns that opened this year, and we have carefully selected the finest luxury inns to visit with babies and children from Luntan’s own perspective. We hope you will find them useful.
1.BULGARI HOTEL TOKYO
Starting in Milan, Italy, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has opened only in the most exclusive areas of cities and resorts. The Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, the ultimate in luxury, has landed in Japan for the first time in front of Tokyo Station, on the 40th floor with a spectacular view. The luxurious design, unified with a sophisticated Italian worldview, is a space that we want children to experience once.
2.Dusit Thani Kyoto
Dusit Thani, a prestigious luxury hotel brand from Thailand, has arrived in Japan for the first time. Although unfamiliar in Japan, the group operates more than 300 properties in 16 countries worldwide. The restaurant, which serves top-quality Thai cuisine in Kyoto, is also very attractive. Unfortunately, lunch and dinner are not allowed for children under 12 years old, but I would like to enjoy it in a relaxed in-room dining environment.
3.The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka
Finally, The Ritz-Carlton has arrived in Fukuoka. As with previous Ritz-Carlton hotels, there is a ‘The Ritz Kids’ programme, which offers a camping atmosphere at the hotel. This is a precious hotel where children can have a good time at the hotel.
4.Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara
The Shisui Luxury Collection Hotel is now in Nara. It is the third hotel following Okinawa Miyako and Kyoto, which were introduced in Luntan. The hotel’s buildings and gardens are steeped in history and tradition, and the rooms and furnishings have been preserved as historical sites, allowing you to experience the dignity and beauty of Japanese culture with your children.
Now next is a hotel that has not yet opened, but is scheduled to do so during 2023.
Aman Niseko is the fourth Aman resort in Japan, following Amanem, Aman Tokyo and Aman Kyoto, which were introduced in Luntan. The superbly refined resort will refresh both parents and children with a refreshing feeling. As a ski resort that has evolved into a global brand, Hokkaido Niseko will also be an opportunity to attract even more attention from around the world. Also good for children’s skiing debut.
Janu, a new sister brand from the same Aman brand, will be the brand’s first base in Tokyo. Unlike the serenity of the Aman resorts, the approach will be energetic and groundbreaking. Expectations are high for this one too.
What do you think? All of them are fantastic places to stay. If you are lucky enough to have stayed at one of them, please post on Instagram / X (formerly Twitter) with the hashtag #Lun Tang Travel with Children! We look forward to hearing from you.
