Located in Hokkaido’s Niseko, where you can enjoy some of the world’s finest powder snow, is the ski resort “The East Mountain Niseko Village, Ritz-Carlton Reserve.”
This resort, “The Reserve,” which is one of only five in the world and the top-tier brand of Ritz-Carlton, made its debut in Japan in 2020. It offers a moment to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life amidst Niseko’s beautiful and majestic scenery and high-level hospitality.
Although “JAPOW,” a portmanteau of “Japan” and “powder snow,” has been gaining worldwide attention, Niseko stands as a popular snow resort, known as the epitome of JAPOW, attracting people from all over the globe due to the excellent quality of its snow. Positioned at the foot of Mt. Yotei and Mt. Niseko Annupuri, with multiple ski resorts nearby, it boasts an ideal location where “the slopes are right in front of the hotel.” With well-equipped rental ski gear, it’s also recommended for children’s skiing debuts.
With only 50 rooms, it exudes a tranquil atmosphere.
From Sapporo City to the Niseko area, it’s approximately a two-hour drive. Paid limousine shuttle services are also available.
