Coordinate with cute mint colors
Refreshing and heart-wrenchingly adorable. Here we will show you how to coordinate a half birthday photo using mint, a mysterious color that looks cute on boys and girls alike.
If your baby can sit up, hang the garland on the wall and photograph it with the cake. Make an impromptu cake stand by simply setting the plate on top of a small cup. Don’t have a dish in the right color? Then just cheat by covering it with matching paper napkins.
Even if you don’t have cake, you can dress up pancakes for a splendid celebration. We wrapped a bamboo skewer in masking tape and made a flag using a small garland. (We got this size by printing six pages of Luntan’s garland kit on one sheet of A4 paper.)
The handmade crown is very simple.
- Cut light blue and grey felt in the same zigzag shape.
- Stick the two pieces of felt together using fabric tape.
- Stick velcro to one end of the grey felt using fabric glue. Since the velcro will stick to the felt, you only need once piece. This makes it easy to adjust the size too, so you can use it again next year.
4. Sew on pompoms and and pearl beads, and it’s finished. You can make it even fancier by attaching a ribbon to the crown and tying it under your baby’s chin.
